Weddings are celebrated on Friday at 4pm and Saturday at 1:00pm
Initial Intake Meeting and Paperwork The Diocese of Dallas has established the criteria for determining that both parties are free to enter marriage. This is primarily accomplished by the completion of paperwork, which will be done at your first scheduled appointment.
The couple contacts Holy Cross indicating your interest in marrying in the Church.
A Pastoral Ministry Associate will contact you to schedule the initial appointment to complete your pre-nuptial paperwork. When you are called to schedule your appointment, they will also discuss marriage preparation fees with you, some of which are due at the initial intake meeting.
Attend the intake meeting, complete required paperwork, and pay required fees.
Receive instructions on obtaining required documents and completing the marriage preparation steps.
At this point you MAY be able to move on to the Marriage Preparation stage, including the opportunity to select a preferred wedding date at Holy Cross.
Payment of Required Fees At the initial meeting you will be required to pay a number of fees. (Additional fees due at other stages of preparation will be identified during the meeting.) Item Amount Due:
FOCCUS Inventory and Formation Fee $250 initial appointment
Church Usage Fee $500 when date set
Presider Donation $200 when date set
Wedding Coordination (Rehearsal and Day of Event) $150 at rehearsal
TOTAL: $1,100 Church Musician (if used) $150 each at rehearsal
